District 10 Community Benefit Fund – submission deadline passed!

The D10 office has set aside money from the district’s budget to help catalyze projects in District 10 that help make our neighborhoods more vibrant and safer places to live work and play. Projects that help build community and increase community engagement will prioritized. The deadline to apply has passed!  (it was Friday, November 15, 2024), and recipients will be announced Wednesday, November 27, 2024.

Some examples include:

  • Community social events
  • Food pantry assistance
  • Outreach to increase RNO participation
  • Neighborhood clean up projects
  • Community gardens
  • Public art projects

Qualified projects will receive funding up to a maximum of $2,000, with a total of $20,000 available for distribution. To qualify, your organization must have a W-9, and must demonstrate support from the community (i.e. a signature from your RNO president, PTO organization, or demonstrated community need). Projects will be evaluated on feasibility, breadth of community engagement, and community impact.

The application has been removed as the deadline for submissions was Friday, November 15, 2024.  We received more than a dozen submissions!  Good luck to all those who applied, and we’ll announce results on Wednesday, November 27 ,2024.
