Today, we honor the bravery, sacrifice and dedication of our veterans here in Denver and across the country. Thank you to all our veterans for your commitment to keeping us safe. 🇺🇸

➡️ Just a reminder: Most city agencies will be closed for the Veterans Day holiday. Other agencies may have impacted hours. Agencies that operate 24/7, such as Denver International Airport, and sworn members of the Denver Sheriff, Police and Fire Departments, along with other emergency responders, will continue to be available.

Last Sunday, I had the incredible honor of cutting the ribbon at Denver's newly renovated Central Library. The energy and excitement from the community made this milestone truly special, and the turnout was a testament to our community's vibrant support for the Denver Public Library (DPL). Together, we unveiled refreshed spaces designed to inspire, connect, and serve everyone who walks through those doors.

Thank you to the dedicated library staff for their passion in creating a more welcoming space for all. This renovation wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our community. With $59.4 million in total funding—$43 million from the 2017 Elevate Denver Bond and $5.75 million from Strong Library, Strong Denver, supported by the DPL Fund—this project has come to life thanks to you, the voters.
